Ashley Paul

Ashley Paul joined the WJZ team in December 2024 as a reporter, and could not be happier to call Charm City home!

Ashley has told stories all across the country, including in Maine, Central Pennsylvania and Tampa, where she won a Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists award in the "Multi-Media Journalist In a Large Market" category.

She most recently worked as an evening reporter at WREG in Memphis, Tennesee. There she covered stories that made national headlines, including the untimely death of Lisa Marie Presley, the legal battle between football legend Michael Oher and the Tuohy family - an ongoing dispute that emerged following the release of the movie "The Blindside," - and the beating death of Tyre Nichols, which sparked widespread protests and calls for justice.

Ashley is a Philly native (Go Birds!) and a Boston University graduate. In her free time, you can find her at the park with her pug mix Theodore, traveling, spending time with friends and family or trying new restaurants!
