Stabbing in Villanova, Pennsylvania, sends 1 to hospital; suspect in custody, police say
A person has been taken into custody after allegedly stabbing someone in the Villanova section of Radnor Township Thursday afternoon, police said.
Police said in a post on X at around 3:45 p.m. that the stabbing happened on the 100 block of Hillside Circle, which is right near Lancaster Avenue and I-476.
The person who was stabbed was taken to a local trauma center, according to police. Their condition isn't known at this time.
Police said there's no threat to the community.
The stabbing is under investigation, and police are in the area of the 700 block of Lancaster Avenue securing evidence that was discarded, authorities said.
Police said more information will be released when it becomes available.
